you are making things very very very hard!i could do such an image processing(which took you 25 mins) in about 5 min with the silver efex plug-in and regular masks! and i don’t know how you came up with working with a brush on the gradient?! have you ever heard of an eraser tool applied on a simple mask?i am just saying that you are making things much too complicated!it is a shorter way for all your struggle!believe me!
